Bookbinding II

This two session second-level class teaches sewing techniques for bookbinding such as sewing on tapes or cords, the French Web sewing method, and paper casing. We will explore how to use the following tools in the bindery: a sewing frame, lying press, nipping press, board shear, and guillotine.
