FBAC Visits National Museum of African American History & Culture

Join Associate, Sarah Matthews, for a trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in honor of Black History Month. You will meet Sarah at the Shady Grove Metro Station at 9am and travel together to the museum or you can arrive seperatly and arrive before 10am to receive your ticket. Particpants will be able to visit the exhibits independently and then come together at the end to discuss the details of creating a book from your experiences. Participants are encouraged to create the book in their free time over the next month, at which point you will come together again to discuss the details of your piece with fellow participants and, if comfortable, have it exhibited in a show here at FBAC.
