May the Fourth Be With you Exploding Star Book

On this May the Fourth we will be with you making exploding star books from CDs, Aluminum foil, and construction paper. Rebel against tossing that CD and give it new hope, new life, and an explosive personality. So grab your podracer to zoom with us to celebrate with some out of this work bookmaking! Ages 13 and up.

Supplies:

• 2-CDs or DVDs that you were going to toss out
• Aluminum foil
• Glue stick
• Red/yellow/orange paper (double sided), enough to make five 5¾" squares
• Scissors, X-Acto knife, Paper cutter
• Ruler/cutting mat
• Sharpie marker both thin and thick (does not need to be Sharpie brand but must be able to write on the foil
