Photo Transfer 101

This class focuses on the basics of transferring photographs to different types of surfaces. Using a photocopied image and glue or modpodge, participants will learn how to transfer their images first to paper and then to wood. The class offers the space to learn photo transfer techniques while being experimental with results. Participants are encouraged to explore ways to incoporate their newly transferred photos in future projects and decoration. No experience necessary, ages 15 and up. 

Supplies:

• Foam or bristle-ended brush
• Washcloth
• Wood
• Paper
• Modpodge/Glue
• Photocopies (personal photographs or downloaded images printed in reverse so that text is readable when transferred - think mirror image)
