Work directly with Pam to learn a new skill or discuss and work through a project that you have been eager to create. After purchasing this first hour of instruction, your information will be given directly to your instructor, who will reach out to you to discuss the details of your one-on-one. Together you will work to schedule a good time and date to meet at the Frederick Book Arts Center where you will have access to our equipment and the ability to purchase any consumable supplies you may need. If your one-on-one exceeds the first hour, you will be able to pay for the remaining time at the end of your instruction through our Point of Sale System in the Center. **Pam Heemskerk is an artist working in the mediums of photography, poetry, book arts and time-based media. She has deep roots in rural Maryland, and it is here in this southern landscape where most of her work is made. She has recently self-published a book of poetry titled Orchestra. She has created and bound many handmade artist books using her words and images. She recently received her MFA in Photography from Maine Media College in Rockport Maine and holds a MS in Counseling from University of Memphis. She has always been fascinated in where art, self-discovery and healing come together. Helping artists to access their creativity to create meaningful work, is a lifelong dream. She lives in Damascus, Maryland with her family.**
